Launched last year as part of
the Partnership for Achievement, San Francisco Promise is a joint
collaboration with SFUSD, San Francisco State University, and the
Mayor’s office. San Francisco Promise is a fundamental piece of the
new “P-16” vision that aims to provide every child with quality public
education from pre-school through college. Starting in the 6th grade,
students will receive support services and guidance to prepare for
college. Students that stay committed to the program will be
guaranteed a spot at San Francisco State University.
